DISCOVER OUR STORY

Imperial Victory Shipping Agency Inc., (IVSA) was established in 1976. Originally conceived to answer the growing worldwide demand for Filipino seafarers, the company proceeded to provide experienced, well trained, and efficient crew for all types of vessel.
In the beginning the company’s main principals were ship owners from Greece. But as the country’s shipping industry experienced a slump in the early 1980’s, (IVSA) embarked on a marketing program focusing on Asian ship owners, recognizing that Asia’s potential for growth in trading and shipping is indeed tremendous.
And the company did succeed in providing topnotch Filipino mariners for various Asian vessels, while quickly diversifying their crew’s vessel expertise not just with cargo ships and tankers but also tug, supply, salvage ships as well as fishing vessels. And recently the company included cable ship technical crew and offshore oil rig crew in their stable of skilled workers.
As the company faces the 21st century, it will continue to support the Filipino seafarers, whose undoubted job expertise not to mention their fluency in English language makes them the most desirable and sought after crew by ship owners worldwide.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL POLICY

DRUGS

The misuse of legitimate drugs or the use, possession, distribution, or sale of controlled and/or prohibited drugs in the Company by Staff, Seafarer and Trainees is totally prohibited.

Imperial Victory Shipping Agency, Inc. will not authorize the employment or acceptance of any person/s that are user/s of or have a record on the use of illegal drugs or have abused the use of prohibited drugs. Any person found in Contravention of the Corporation drug policy will be instantly dismissed.

ALCOHOL

On office and outlying areas of the corporation, alcohol consumption by any Staff, Seafarer and Trainee is not allowed.

The maximum permissible Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of all Officers and Staff during office hours should NOT exceed 0.04 percent per GM/Deciliter of blood or 40 mg/100 ml to be able to respond at any time to any emergency situation.

Consumption of alcohol can have serious adverse effects on an Individual’s health and their ability to function effectively. Any person found to have alcohol problem shall neither be employed nor enrolled.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY

Imperial Victory Shipping Agency, Inc. emphasized on safety and the environment as two key areas in its sphere of operation that are of paramount importance and need to be effectively controlled to prevent unnecessary injuries, loss of life, damage to property and health and degradation of the environment.

To achieve these requirements, the Company has embraced the ISO9001:2015 on Quality Management System and abide with the Safety Management System of respective Foreign Principals. This shall ensure that the activities are sufficiently controlled to protect people, property and environment from all risks and hazards that must be expected.

Safety is the concern of all and recognizes no rank. To this end, the Company is committed in making all Staff, Seafarer and Trainees more safety conscious and encourages all to become actively involved in identifying possible hazards. Implementing corrective actions and constantly monitoring all facets of their working environment to ensure prevalence of safety conditions.

The personal and/or sensitive personal information you provide to identify or contact you such as your Name, Rank, Present Address, E-mail Address, Telephone and Mobile Number, Age, Status, Gender, previous experience from other Companies, Vessels and Principals previously served are necessary information to process your data in relation to your application and to provide you employment, inform you of the status of your application, conducts survey and relate information coming from our Principals basis your onboard performance, evaluation if any. We may also collect information that is publicly available that is not only limited to sources from other Companies, Organization or Third Party partners which already acquired your consent.

In collecting your information, our company’s primary purpose is to be able to provide you with the most efficient and effective services IMPERIAL VICTORY SHIPPING AGENCY, INC. (IVSAI) in manning services. Your personal and/or sensitive information is guaranteed to be used only for processing of your contract of employment with IVSAI and service fulfillment including promoting our services. Trust that your information shall remain free from any breach and our process are in compliance with Law.
